The Backyard At Waller Creek - Austin

I came in with a party of 9. One hour later they started bringing our food out. When we were all served with the exception of me, they started bringing out our appetizers. No, I'm serious... then after an a chewing and another 25 minutes I got my 2 carnita tacos. No green salsa like they were advertised with. That took another 10 minutes. Waitresses were friendly and courteous and when I FINALLY GOT THEM!!!! They were the best damn carnita tacos I ever had. Everyone had ZERO COMPLAINTS on the food. The service was SUPER, I mean , f- !!!! SUPER SLOW!!!!!! not worth the wait for the price.

Service is so good. The team is great. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always consistent, generous and so comfortable. Like I’m dining or drinking at home. From a fabulous breakfast do the avocado toast with fried poached egg$. To dinner or drinks in the evening always a great experience:

Took ten minutes to get a beer; I feel like I'm in college again battling it out on 6th St for a overpriced drink. Bartenders are having an off night. So slow.

Very unfriendly staff room was OK over price for what they offer
