The Kebab Shop - Austin

As soon as I walked into this restaurant, I was immediately disgusted by the sights and smells, so I want to warn any animal lovers out there. However, they do offer falafel, just be sure to request it without tzatziki sauce.

The food at this restaurant is amazing! I ordered the box and the portion size was generous. The ingredients were very fresh and their yogurt sauce was delicious. I was so impressed with the food that I had to take a photo halfway through and leave them a glowing review. Plus, most of their menu items are gluten-free.

I went for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious and uniquely authentic flavor of the food. The dishes had more of a Moroccan influence than Greek, especially the kebab. The saffron rice was tasty, the salad fresh, and the harissa sauce was incredibly spicy, unlike anything you would find at a typical BBQ joint or with Sriracha sauce. The only exception was the cilantro sauce, but it was also delightful, so I ended up asking for more.

I often have lunch at this restaurant and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious and high quality, which is evident from the first bite. While the prices are a bit high for a casual fast dining experience, with base food entrées costing between $11-13 per person, the generous portions ensure you'll likely have leftovers. Additional extras, drinks, and sides are not included in this price.

The Kebab Shop is a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant with wraps, kebabs, salads, known for their customizability. The fries wrap is essentially the wrap with fries added. It was plenty of food in one wrap, even half of it was enough for a meal. They have a designated sauce station with homemade sauces, I personally like a combination of all of them (spicy chili, garlic yogurt, spicy cilantro). They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of parking in their lot. The noise level is low and the service was surprisingly very quick.
