We went there when it was slow on a weekday. Around 5pm. Had a bus load of college kids. Most of them went to the taco truck. I got mexican tacos with meat. It was not good, eatabble, but nothing great. Compared to other food trucks I've eaten.Corn tortillas were too dry. Mexican tacos are usually dipped with a little grease. The meat flavor wasn't great either. The corn in a cup wasn't what I expected. As for the other food trucks I can't comment on those.
I found a place to eat called the Picnick , it was a grouping of food trucks offering different kinds of food, after you purchased your food you could eat in a central area with many picknick tables. There were also public restrooms available. It was great we loved it. There was plenty of free parking available and they even had a lock gate .If your ever in Austin don 't miss this one of a kind dining experience.
Interesting place. Very comfortable to sit and eat. The food trucks seem to be hit or miss based on the reviews. I ate from the HabibiATX and the food was very good. The bathrooms are nasty definitely not Buc ee's. Plenty of parking in the back. This is also the jumping off point for a Segway tour company.
Really cool spot. It will be even better once they get more trucks in there. I was a bit sad they didn't have a BBQ truck Austin Texas with no BBQ ribs or chicken?! That's crazy. Somebody start one!
