The Tavern - Austin

The restaurant has a very casual atmosphere, similar to a dive bar, but the burgers are delicious.

The bartender (or one of the coworkers) smacked our waiters buttocks with a clipboard as she was checking us out!!! he did it, and then just handed the clipboard over to her. not acceptable. food and service was average. i would only come back for drinks.

The bartenders at this restaurant are top-notch, especially the woman who has a beautiful singing voice! They were willing to accommodate my friend's request for a custom food plate, even with the limited options available. This is a very friendly and inviting local spot to relax and socialize.

A great pub just a few minutes away from downtown Austin. Our waiter Eric was great and so were the Old Fashioneds and German pretzels.

I had a great time watching the Longhorn game today thanks to the incredible service provided by the staff.
