The pizza was quite good, a little expensive, but I would say it is worth not adding to many extra toppings. my 3 stars it's all about one of the young who at the pizza trailers, who with longer bart, very pouring in and he has just felt unintentional and uncomfortable, he didn't even have to recharge me or something, I ordered, paid and left a nice drink money online, we have eaten the pizza there, but didn't get much service from the guy except the pizzas
Yum! If you like Detroit-style aka thick pizza then try this place. We tried the Ambassador
Detroit styled pizza was great made in a square pan, sauce was seasoned and there was plenty of cheese. I got the Omnivore pizza, which was basically a supreme pizza. I'm personally a sauce kind of person, but this pizza was made with cheese as the base layer and a line of sauce over the top. It was good nonetheless the bread was airy, the crust was crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.Only knack I will say is that bread was a little thick for my liking, although that's just because I prefer thinner pizzas (like New York) and this was my first time having Detroit styled.A small pizza (around 15 bucks, equivalent to a 10in round pizza) is enough for a person for likely a single sitting. I got a large (which is equivalent to a large 14in round pizza) for about $28 I believe. I took half home for another meal. Also! Since it was our first time there, our waiter gave us free cinnamon bread sticks! Great service overall, and the food was awesome.
The quality of the pizza was ok. I expected more how expensive it was. the ingredients were simple and of low quality and the crust was quite basic for a “detroit style pizza”. the floor was also a bit burned. could cut it for a late night snack and I give the owners credit for the attempt of a Detroit classic in austin but it just not for me.
