Whataburger - Austin

Absolute worst whataburger I have ever been too. I was the first in line by the counter and they couldn?t take my order in 30 mins. They only work on the drive thru and do not care for walk in. In addition, the manager was very rude.

The burgers at this fast-food restaurant are quite good. The prices are reasonable, ranging from $4 to $6 per burger. I ordered two double burgers, onion rings, fries, and a small Coke, which came to $23. My order was ready in just 5 minutes, and when I got home, everything was still warm, with the fries remaining crispy. My wife mentioned that the quality is decent for a fast-food spot. I would definitely eat there again. Thank you!

Unfortunately, the service at this location is quite poor at the moment. Even when there’s no line, I often find myself waiting at least 15 minutes before an employee acknowledges me to pick up my online order. They seem to move very slowly, even after realizing I’m there. It took a solid 10 minutes just to hand me my order, which was sitting on the counter in the back while I waited in total silence for that long.

The quality of the food has declined since the pandemic, and the service hasn't improved either. The restaurant is short-staffed, and those who are working seem overworked and exhausted, which affects their interactions with customers. It's a disappointing situation, but I appreciate their efforts and hard work, so I do want to acknowledge that.

I ordered the onion rings, and unfortunately, I encountered a bad attitude from the manager. Although I initially intended to give a five-star rating, her behavior changed my mind. The rest of the staff, however, was fantastic. To be specific, it was a woman who was managing that day around 11 AM on January 24. I wish I had caught her name.
