Word Of Mouth Bakery - Austin

A small bakery right on the corner of S Lamar and 12th. I went there for coffee even though google map didn't show the place. Surprisingly they have latte, cappuccino and many other espresso options along with teas. Staffs are so friendly and they offer free Wi-Fi, a decent spot to enjoy your leisure time or work.

I hate to leave a bad review because they do serve good food. But guys you need to be open sometimes to be a good business. It’s 3:20pm on a Thursday. Their hours are supposed to be Wednesday Sunday, 8am 4pm aaaand we’re closed. I came in a Wednesday during the day one day closed. Love you guys, would love to see you succeed, great products, great staff. But the hours are a problem as is and then just randomly being closed? Worried this business isn’t going to survive.

Stopped in for a coffee and a gluten free salted chocolate chip cookie. Just divine. A few tables inside to work or have a bigger meal. Friendly staff

Absolutely recommend!! I had a very specific cake I needed made- down to the piping of frosting and colors and it came out so beautiful, just as I wanted. The flavor was also very tasty! Can’t wait until I need to get another cake made because I will be coming back here!

I absolutely enjoyed this place! I believe I at the roast beef sandwich and it did not disappoint! It was divine and then I left room for the tres leche cake and it just melts in your mouth!
