I stumbled upon this food truck during a random Google search, and I'm so glad I did! The lady who runs it is an absolute sweetheart; even though she’s busy, her customer service is excellent. Now, about the food… it’s delicious, affordable, and incredibly generous. The value for the price is truly amazing. I recommend placing a takeout order since it can get a bit hot in the middle of summer, but I definitely plan to enjoy their charming outdoor seating once the weather starts to cool down.
I stopped by after a long drive and grabbed some Gatorades from the connected gas station since it was the only place open at the time. While waiting for a restaurant to open, I walked around the area. Suddenly, I panicked when I couldn’t find my truck and went back to the gas station to see if they could help. The employee informed me that cars get towed if left unattended. When I asked if he had called for the tow, he said he didn’t. Thinking it was just a misunderstanding, I requested a receipt for the Gatorade I purchased. That’s when things took a turn for the worse. The employee, who said his name was Miguel, refused to give me the receipt. I’m unsure about the legality of this, but it struck me as poor customer service and very strange given the situation. There were no other customers in the store, and he was not busy. After a frustrating time trying to track down my truck, I discovered it had been impounded just a few blocks away. I had to pay over $300 to get it back, and the tow truck driver informed me that someone had called to have it picked up. This means the gas station attendant lied about the towing and refused to provide me with a receipt that would have proven I was a customer who used their lot. This experience was both upsetting and disappointing. To the owner of the business, I would appreciate it if you could cover the towing costs, given that I was penalized for being a customer at your establishment. I’m willing to take down this review if this situation was merely a misunderstanding or the result of one bad employee. I live close by and used to visit frequently, but after this incident, I won’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else either. If anyone else has had a similar experience, please comment so I can look into this further. I would strongly suggest avoiding this place; it’s just not worth the hassle.
