I'm not sure why someone mentioned that a pie costs $19, as from what I remember they are around $6.50 each, or about $8 for a variety of flavors when purchased early in the day. Personally, I prefer the pastries at the bakery on Camden Main Street and the cakes at the butcher shop in Casula Shopping Center. However, everyone has their own preferences. I take my desserts seriously, so I decided to order a frozen crimp and heeled top from Tasmania.
I paid $19 for a beef patty that was simply okay, not even fried. It was not worth it. I will be dining elsewhere from now on.
I'm going here almost every day. I wouldn't get a coffee. they have a large selection of baked cakes and rolls. Look at it!
Remained one to take away the hunger, went in, nothing much to order, waited for the service (i was the only one there) the service did not know what was what. I got on a sussage roll (I wanted a cake)
I love pies and had heard positive reviews about the Pie Co Bakehouse Hoxton Park, so I decided to give it a try while in the area. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The meat and gravy in the curry beef pie were very sloppy, and the sausage roll was quite average. I was expecting a premium product for the price of $4.50. After paying $17.50 for two pies and a sausage roll to take away, we will not be returning. This is my first negative review, as I usually do not bother reviewing places or products that are just average. Overall, this experience was disappointing with little flavor, sloppy pies, and high prices.
