Purple Hen Winery - Australia

Everything was fantastic, the portion sizes were just right. All staff members that we engaged with, were all very welcoming. There were six of us and we all thought everything was very tasty. We shared the Pino noir and the sparkling both wines were great. They also had a hands free, hand sanitising station.

Friendly staff and great indoor and outdoor setting. The wine tasting is varied and the staff are really knowledgeable about the wines. Great way to spend an afternoon.

A wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Brought the dog with us who was happy to chill under the table while we devoured cheese, dips, nuts and all sorts of goodies. The food is all tasty as you'd expect and the wine is also lovely. Tried the pinot noir and it was a good choice. Walked away with a bottle of wine and a smile.

Really fabulous winery, gorgeous scenery and decent wines. My favourite was the sparkling Shiraz! I had never had anything like it! Our wine lady was really friendly and knowledgeable and we had a delicious cheese platter too. Highly recommend a visit! Oh and there are ACTUAL PURPLE HENS roaming around!!!!

This is the third time we have visited this winery over a few years. We did the tasting again and settled on the pinot Gris and a cheese board to enjoy under the big tree outside. Was pretty busy a group of 4 finishing a tasting and another group of 4 tasting the same time as us. The lady was pleasant and remembered us from a previous visit. Cheese board has shrunk over time but was still super tasty. Shadows of blue was amazing and not overpowering like a lot of blue cheeses can be. Enjoyed our visit and will be back again
