Fantastc food based on Argentinian cuisine. Lovely staff very helpful. A nice change if travelling through Alice Springs.

Ooh, can't believe I haven't added a review for this wonderful venue already. Excellent food and beverages in a great little setting, just next to Araluen Arts Centre and other places in the arts precinct. Ambience is superb, with a choice of indoors in the air con, or outside either avoiding or chasing the sun. The place is very peaceful, and if there's not the hum of other patrons chatting, or if there is, you can enjoy the relaxing South American and Spanish music. But for me, the best thing about Yaye's is the friendly, happy, excellent staff. G'day to M., S., D., M., and anyone I've forgotten. Thanks for helping me with my Spanish and Brazilian (and its subtle differences to Portuguese).

The atmosphere is lovely, complemented by excellent service and delicious food. Although they offer traditional breakfast options, it's definitely worth stepping out of your comfort zone to try the South American-style dishes. The Inca salad, featured in the picture below, is absolutely delicious!

Delicious food and excellent coffee/hot chocolate. I'm looking forward to returning for lunch to try the empanadas!
