Food and service was excellent, but the bathroom could be a little more attention.

Pleasant experience in a quiet setting with good food choices and reasonable prices.

Started at the hostess stand, menus kind of strewn all around no hosts ever showed. We had to go inside and flag down the ONLY server to seat us. We did have a reservation but they didn’t ask or seem to care. We got water right away and then nothing for a long while. Finally took our order and then disappeared again. Another long while. The food was not worth the wait. Neither of us finished our meal. My husband went to the restroom they cleared the table. Now the server has time to care if we are satisfied with our meal. I gently told him no asked for the check. He pressed as to why we were unhappy, which was fine. I understood he was very busy didn’t complain about the wait. (How much can one server do)? We were not happy with the food. My husband had shrimp which he didn’t like and I had a veal dish that was awful. I told him the veal was chewy and appeared to be a frozen patty. He said he didn’t understand what I meant? How do you misunderstand a frozen patty as opposed to veal medallions in an Italian restaurant? I told him it was ok just please bring the check. Which he did along with a huge piece of tiramisu (to go) with his apology. The only reason I gave two stars was because I felt sorry for the server. Should really be one star no ambience bad food. Nice server but not a good server. We did not even think about the tiramisu, right in the garbage. Sad, don’t waste your time!

The food was fantastic and the service was top notch.

Best Italian on the island! (And there’s A LOT). Great food and service EVERY TIME.
