The food was decent, however, the man who took our order was extremely rude and unpleasant. When he didn't understand what I was saying, he loudly exclaimed, "vad?" I understand that Swedish people often speak to each other in this way, but it is unacceptable to speak to customers like that, even if they are Swedish.
This restaurant also offers pizzas, which is a pleasant surprise. In contrast to other establishments I've tried in Sweden, their pizzas are quite good for a non-Italian restaurant. Prices are on par with other pizzerias, but the service and food quality are superior. Additionally, you have the option to dine outside in the sun. The menu includes a variety of Greek dishes, as well as options for fish and meat. Overall, it's a great choice for dinner if you find yourself in Avesta.
The hotel we stayed at one night suggested this restaurant. The menu features Greek dishes. We had tender grilled lamb on a skewer with a nice feta cheese salad, a good homemade tzatziki, and bulgur or oven-baked potato wedges. The complimentary starter consisted of slices of homemade pizza wedges with melted cheese. We chose a good South African red wine to accompany the food. Good, friendly service, food nicely presented and at a very reasonable price. Alcohol in Sweden is always expensive by standards in most other countries, but the wine we selected complemented the food nicely. We would eat there again.
Totally fantastic! very good eating were the staff super nice and happy with our little ones too. very cozy interieur with good surfaces and beautifully furnished tables and solid chairs. everything was so comfortable and we were so happy with our visit we ate Greek tonne stew, filled chicken fillets and Greek plankash, with camembert for dessert the only thing that was a bit boring was the cheesecake that the roommate ordered for dessert. mythos is recommended
