I think the park is very nice and perfectly situated for hikers, wildlife watching, skiing, and fishing. The lodges are very well maintained and equipped. The bedding, towels, cooking gear, plates, etc., are all supplied. Everything is very clean and nice. Park management is very good, friendly, and very helpful. I will certainly stay here again and I highly recommend it.
Very good location by the river and close to both village centre and Rothiemurchus. There was access to the river bank as well. There is an onsite restaurant and paid WiFi we didn't use both. The area is well maintained and felt safe after dark. It was stunning when the snow finally arrived !!
We had a wonderful time at the Aviemore Holiday Park. There’s plenty to see and do in the area, and it’s just a short 10-minute walk to the railway station, which was one of the reasons we chose this park. We dined at the Aviemore Inn and highly recommend Mary's homemade sausages and meatcakes (we hope you love the recipe when you read this, Mary). We can't wait to visit again next year!
This restaurant boasts a stunning location in Aviemore, right by the River Spey and just a short stroll from the city center. It features a bar and grill at the front, and the grounds are impeccably maintained, attracting ducks that can often be seen nearby. The evenings are nice and peaceful, adding to the charm of the place. I particularly enjoyed my stay at No. 93 Roxbury, one of the six carriages. It was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The price for three nights was also quite reasonable.
