Chez Bodus - Avignon

We were told to avoid many of the restaurants in the centre and be wary of the inflated prices directed towards tourists. After searching a bit of the beaten track, we found this little 'fast food ' joint which offered tasty, high quality food and fast service. The meat was fantastic and of high quality. Chips crispy and flavoursome. The service was great and the man who served us was friendly and spoke English so we could make our order.

This restaurant is very good ! The food is great and from the region. The service is really good and nice if you are in Avignon you MUST go in this restaurant.

I was looking for a place to eat for late dinner during rainy evening at Avignon. I came across this place as a last minute decision as it was getting late. I have to say that this place is a gem. They make the burger out of fresh meat that they grind on site. The bun is so fresh and soft almost like brioche. It was cooked perfectly as ordered. I ordered the Hollywood megalo with the fries which was tasty and came with different choice of homemade sauces, I picked the tartar. Everyone was so helpful and friendly (since I do not speak much of french), especially the chef was very welcoming which he came to the front to ask if the burger was alright and it was a perfection of course. You can order the wine by glass or bottle and they also have beer and soft drinks as well as coffee. I would recommend this place and will return for another bite of delicious burger. This is the burger you want to have when you are in Avignon!!!

During our time interailing we called in here one night for a burger to get a quick bite.The service was excellent and the waiter was really helpful and spoke good English.The food was good, I had a blue cheese burger and my girlfriend had a steak and frites.They have a nice little selection of beers which compliment the burgers well.Would recommend this place and go back again if I was in Avignon.

Great to find a small business doing what they do well. Some might say it's a limited menu, but when the burger is this good we really could not have asked for more. Well worth finding if you're after something not French.
