Le Moliere - Avignon

We had searched around town to find somewhere with food other than the same old same old at a sensible price, and are SO pleased that we came here. The food was really good and interesting , and the service excellent. Thank you! ☺

We enjoyed a lovely meal here with large portions and reasonable prices. Service was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent quality. The rose house wine was chilled and very drinkable .

We had brought our family here for the first time and had been unsure which of the amazing restaurants in the Place des Corps Saints to choose. As our fave Spanish place was full, we moved out of the middle of the action and had a wonderful lunch here. Starters: delightful gaspacho serviced in a lightbulb shaped glass with a straw; smoked trout terrine, herbed pannacotta with dried tomatoes. Mains: beef casserole, steak and chips and lovely sea bream. Excellent 22 euro value. Great bread, great service.

Friends took us to this restaurant for dinner. They had eaten here the night before and wanted to go back. Always a good sign!We enjoyed it all. The food, the wine and the service.I really enjoyed my steak with potatoes and salad and the Lavender Creme Brulee was very good.

We arrived by train late in the day and after settling in and a short rest we were excited about our first meal. We followed the advice of our hotelier and went to the Place des Corps Saints, about a 5 minute walk from our hotel. There were quite a few lovely small restaurants in the square. After checking menus we decided on Le Moliere. Absolutely delightful! Warm chèvre in a nest of chèvre with a lovely little salad and delicious house wine! My companion had the aubergine. We promised to come back a few days later and we did - for another wonderful meal! Bravo to Sophie!
