Taco Shack Avila Beach

We've often seen this place closed when passing by, but today it was open, so we decided to give it a try and ordered a taco. We went for their 3-taco deal, with each of us getting one. The service was quick, and our order arrived fast. Each meal came with three tacos, a lime, and a green sauce. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the onions and cilantro complemented it well. However, I felt that even with the sauce, onions, and cilantro, the overall flavor was a bit lacking. We’ll definitely return to try a burrito, though!

My husband and I have been coming here for about three years, and we have always been very happy and satisfied with the food. The prices are reasonable and the meals are definitely worth it. Today, I brought my daughter so she could also enjoy the amazing large burritos. Although the place may be small, the atmosphere is lovely and clean. The staff is incredibly nice and always treats you like family. I’m already being recognized by them! I absolutely LOVE this place!!!

The food and prices were just right. They didn't offer complimentary water, but since I ordered a beer, it wasn't an issue for me, although I did notice it. Taco Shack was quite busy, but they managed to get our order out quickly. The restaurant was also impressively clean, even with its location next to the beach. I will probably return in the future.

My family and I were strolling around Ávila when we stumbled upon this restaurant. The door was open, and there was a sign that said it was open. It was already past noon, and as we approached, a man rushed out, abruptly shouted "We're closed, dude!" and walked away. He seemed quite angry and was very rude in his manner. I will never consider this place again. If you're an owner, it's important to show some respect to potential customers who want to try your food.

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. It was extremely hot inside, and we couldn't move the tables outside to accommodate a group larger than three. I'm pretty sure I could make better food using a convenience store and a camp stove. Let's just hope we don't get sick from the meal! It was inexpensive, but unfortunately, the quality just wasn't there. I would recommend going somewhere else instead of stopping here, even if you're hungry.
