We have to go, cream cheese competitions, pigs drunk noodles and beef singapur noodles. the storms were terrible, they looked a week old and had almost no filling. the noodles were both good, nothing we would come back for, but not bad. they needed better sauces, but we are well cooked. the service was very good and fast, but I think it is overpriced for what they get
I ordered the drunk noodles with tofu, General Tso's chicken, and one order of crab rangoon. The crab rangoon came with only four pieces, whereas most places give six. The total cost was $50 with the tip. Unfortunately, the drunk noodles had no flavor and tasted like rubbery rice noodles until I added my own chili garlic sauce. The General Tso's chicken had a disappointing sauce, and the crab rangoon was overpriced for the small portion. Overall, the servings were small and did not meet our expectations. As someone living in Leadville and hoping for good Chinese food in Avon, I was extremely disappointed with the quality and value of the meal. For $50, we expected delicious food, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
I have never had worse Chinese food than what I experienced at this restaurant. The fried rice seemed like it was thrown on the plate, and the steamed rice was too sweet. The Kung Pao chicken was bland and mostly sauce. The only dish that tasted decent was the hot and sour soup, but the portion was small and half empty, making us think they had given us the wrong order. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
Passing through town for a few days, we were conflicted reading the reviews but also super craving Chinese food China Garden didn't disappoint! We've lived in both New York/NJ area and LA mostly and know there are regional differences to American Chinese food. Nonetheless this Colorado Chinese food hit the spot! The egg rolls were crisp with a nice sweet dipping sauce provided, the Wonton soup was hearty and the dumplings were nice (closer to an LA then NY dumpling, as in thinner, but still really good). My wife got the Kung Pao chicken and that was quite nice, she said it tasted just like at any of the places on either coast. My sesame chicken I felt lacked a bit of the sauce that usually comes on it that I like to throw into the side of rice and have rub off, it was definitely different than what I was used to on either coast but it was still good.Overall if you're looking to hit your Chinese food craving China Garden is recommended!
