Liki Sushi Asian Bistro - Avon

Among all the sushi restaurants I've visited, this one stands out as one of the most stunning. The atmosphere is quite soothing, the location is lovely, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is fresh and beautifully presented. I will definitely return for more!

The food has always been served promptly. The lunches are excellent. I’m looking forward to sitting at the bar once they fully open!

A note about takeout: it doesn't hold up as well as dining in, even for non-sushi appetizers and entrees. Moreover, the quality of the sushi can vary depending on who prepares it. While the head chef is exceptional—precise, attentive to details, and extremely skilled—some of the sous chefs yield mixed results. They’re still good, but not always consistent. For instance, I once had a hand roll that only had rice on half of the seaweed, leaving a strange, empty piece at the end. Despite these minor hiccups, I will continue to visit this place regularly. The sushi is simply amazing, especially considering its location!

Went out to dinner here Saturday night. We came in pretty late but they were very accommodating. Food was excellent! I loved the hibachi style chicken fried rice.

Don't let the mildly tacky sign and strip mall location fool you. This place might have some of the best sushi and sushi chefs in the Hartford area. Really top notch quality fish.
