Good Karma Coffee House

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, but I'm so glad we did! We tried the maple bacon muffin (and loved it so much that we went back for seconds!), the waffle, a ham and cheese omelet, and a cookie with ham and cheese. Everything was delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and gluten-free. I really wish we lived nearby so we could enjoy it more often!

Gluten-Free—Surprisingly Delicious! I didn't know much about gluten-free foods until I started visiting this coffee shop for my coffee fix. Now, I've discovered that their gluten-free muffins, waffles, and cookies are absolutely amazing! The flavors are unique and unlike anything I've tasted elsewhere. It may take a few tries to appreciate the difference, but once you do, you'll realize what you've been missing! - Sharon

I was overjoyed to discover that a gluten-free coffee shop had opened nearby (in fact, everything here is gluten-free, and free from milk, soy, nuts, and shellfish). Living in Decatur, I have access to various gluten-free options, but aside from one shop that offers a gluten-free selection daily, coffee shops tend to be a source of frustration for me. I’m not sure why I even look at the pastry cases! Today, I decided to visit Good Karma, eager to enjoy some delicious treats alongside my coffee (other than the protein and granola bars I usually carry in my backpack). The visit was absolutely worth it! This morning, the bakery case featured seven different types of muffins, as well as oatmeal and waffles. Plus, the prices were competitive with other places. I ordered a chai latte and a cranberry orange muffin, and both were fantastic! Chai latte is one of my go-to drinks, so I always try it when I explore a new coffee shop. This one was flavorful and stood up well against my favorite chai spot. The muffin had an abundance of cranberries, a lovely (but not overpowering) orange flavor, and was wonderfully moist. It could easily be served to anyone without them realizing it was gluten-free—unfortunately, I ate it too quickly to snap a photo! It seems I've found a new coffee spot. Judging by the crowd, I’m not the only one enjoying it. I noticed a woman next to me clapping her hands like a child when she took a bite of her iced lemon pancake, and I completely understood her excitement!

For Saturday opening. Coffee was fantastic and fresh. Bakery was delicious and made on site! Added bonus... it was all gluten-free! Definitely recommend.

This is now our Saturday breakfast spot. My 4 year old loves it and so do I. The prices can’t be beat and neither can the food. The people were extremely sweet and super helpful when I just couldn’t decide what to get. This was definitely the best coffee I think I’ve ever had. Update: We had the waffles today and they were the best waffles ever!!!!!
