Fired Pie - Avondale

This place always delivers! While it's not exactly a New York slice, it's definitely worth trying. The crust has a great crunch, and there's a nice char to it. The cheese is always perfectly melted. They’re happy to reheat your pizza if you need it too. The lemonade is incredibly fresh and refreshing. I ordered the three-meat pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and ham, along with regular sauce, and I loved it. The range of pizzas and desserts they offer is impressive. Even though the restaurant was packed, they still took the time to reheat my pizza. You can choose your own table, and they bring the pizza to you. This is the second location I’ve visited, and the pizza is consistently excellent—it's really that good!

Fantastic pizza! The crust is thin but has a delicious buttery flavor. This restaurant feels a bit like the Subway of pizza; you can either choose from a menu or create your own. They assemble your pizza with fresh ingredients right in front of you, and once you’ve selected your toppings, they fire it in the oven and it’s ready in just minutes. Super impressive! Be sure to try the elote (Mexican street corn) pizza!

The pizza was just okay. There wasn't enough sauce on it. I noticed the person making the pizza was wearing gloves but was also using her phone and adjusting her pants without changing them. She then went on to touch the dough with those same gloves. Additionally, the dough was hanging over the plate and dragging across the surface, which didn't seem sanitary at all. I also saw some customers with pizzas that were burned.

The pizza was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I definitely preferred this location over many others. There's a spacious seating area, which made for a very relaxed atmosphere. I tried the Elote Pie for the first time, and it was tasty. I will definitely be returning to this place!
