Located at the top of the Hoadl Mountains, the complex was also the end of the Olympiabahn. The restaurant has massive, multi-storey large panoramic windows, offering a wide view of the surrounding mountains and even Innsbruck 12 kilometres away. There was the weather outside... was not helpful to eat outside. The panoramic windows appear to slide open during the warmer weather. The food was cafeteria style, but the extensive and high-quality variety of dishes offered was impressive. Both traditional Austrian cuisine and international dishes were offered. I've made a point to dip in a bark dump, a fluffy plum jam filled emptying with poppy seeds and melted butter. There was even a self-service station dedicated to the classic Austrian dessert.
The three pictures tell you everything you need to know. In no specific order: design Paulaner Weissbier Spectacular Panoramic View from a Sun Dragon massive seating area. Really good food, especially CAKES!
Good food in a modern self service place. Great break during your skiing day. Huge glass front opens in warm weather.
Beautiful view from the restaurant, regular quality food available on ski slopes. Nice service, all clean.
