However, I have an update for 2021: I'm not sure if the food is still as good because it’s nearly impossible to find them open! It seems they now only serve from around 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and then they close for the day. They mention taking "pre-orders" and tend to sell out quickly, which makes it feel like they are catering to a "selected" customer list. I’ve given up trying to eat here, and it’s really disappointing because I thought we finally found a great place for fish.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for some time, and I finally had the opportunity. The staff members who took my order were friendly, which was a nice touch. The fish was fresh and served hot, but the flavor was just average. On the bright side, the lemonade was delicious. However, I was disappointed with the coleslaw, as it was quite watery and lacked flavor. I also requested ketchup but received cocktail sauce instead. When I mentioned the mix-up, they informed me that they were out of ketchup. Despite these issues, I plan to return and give them another chance.

Yesterday (July 15, 2022), my husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Friday Nite Fish for the first time, after it was recommended by my cousin. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which included flounder, shrimp, wonderfully sweet corn on the cob, string beans, cole slaw, and hush puppies. The young staff were true professionals and really appreciated our business. It was also a delight to meet the female owner, and I look forward to meeting the male owner as well. We plan to visit Friday Nite Fish again very soon and have already recommended it to others.
