Wood's Snack Bar - AYER'S CLIFF

Located directly at the end of the 17KM bike/walk path. it was the perfect hold for what turned out to be fabulous ice, very cheap. excellent choice. we were at 3 nights in ripplecove inn. we visited woods for ice every day! lol

I evaluate wood’s on a comparison with other similar companies and not in comparison to a 5* restaurant. wood’s has amazing homemade food as well as friendly and efficient service. the burgers, the pizza, the luxurious grilled chicken club are some favorite. they have the opportunity to take away or eat under the veranda or on the small terrace. I recommend a visit!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, this restaurant has shifted to offering takeout only. The food was delicious and they adhered to social distancing guidelines. I didn't mind waiting outside, but I was disappointed that the staff did not wear masks, which was disrespectful to their customers.

The highlight of this restaurant is definitely the poutine. It was delicious and a good value for the portion size. However, it was always crowded when we visited, so the cheese didn't get as stringy as we would have liked. The other dishes we tried were also good, and we appreciated the ample outdoor seating. Overall, we had a great experience.

Great burgers, hot dogs, and ice cream. Only suggestion is asking about size, their small cone was very big surprise after a burger and rings.
