Chequers Inn - Aylesbury Vale

This restaurant is a special treat. The bill for a party of 4 came to £200. The food was fantastic, truly outstanding. The service was lovely and the atmosphere was cozy. This place is perfect for a special night out.

We have forgotten how beautiful the whole experience, eating, service and ambiente is at the chequers. we will return on a regular basis and have recommended the chequers to all our friends.

We had an excellent evening meal. the food quality and presentation were excellent. the service was attentive and not intrusive. the total experience was very positiw. it was an evening to celebrate a birthday and the chequers inn proved to be a good choice.

As always, great eating, great service. we're coming back.

The à la carte menu is limited, which is good. much better, less dishes prepared for a high standard than an extensive choice, but with only average quality. the available selections were somewhat unusual for us, but this forced us to choose dishes that we usually do not. we were glad that this was the case as the dishes were delicious. it is a scandal the restaurant, on a Friday, the evening was quiet. but even with only a few tables you could imagine that it could be quite loud if full.
