Peters pizza is a well-established business. Known further for tossed crust. Under current management customers may find hair under the crust, rude comments and refusal to read deliver product within 3 1/2 km of town.
I am not sure how to begin to rate this place its like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde! Depending on who is working that day will determine your expiriance. I have come to understand their are two main people there Mario and his son I belive his name is Matt. I have ordered many times and finally decided to review this place. Be warned, ask who of the two is working that day! Lets start with The Bad: If Mario is working it is a horrible discusting place to get food. Mario is like Mr Hyde, he is extreamly rude, and overbearing and his pizza tastes like carboard topped sparcely with toppings. I kid you not next time I will take a picture of the pizza you get. I ordered their special 6.99 medium pizza and Mario was working that night and when I got it there was next to no cheese on it. It basically was sauce with pepperoni and a pinch of cheese. The crust of the pizza was hard, slightly crumbly and tasted like stale bread. To top it off when I came to pick it up I asked a few questions about some of their pizzas and I was interrupted and basically treated like I was being a huge pain in the ass. When I tried to ask for clarification I received a smart ass response I have already told you this, and if you would let me finish explaining then you would know. I don 't like being vulgar but to be honest this Mario guy is the definition of a ****. I have no idea how this place is still in business with him running the place because he is clueless as to what he is doing. I don 't know the history of this place but he seems to act as if he is some spoiled rich kid who was handed this place on a silver platter and never had to take responsibility for being such a douchbag. Now the good: His son Matt. Call first and if Matt is working then you have to try this place out. Matts pizza crust is delicious. Its a soft crust in between a fluffy and a thin style crust. The pizzas come with a decent amount of toppings and are cooked to perfection. His attitude is great! always asking about you and how you day is and he seems like he legitimately cares. Asking him questions does not seem to bother him and he seems happy to help. Matt is a true pizza chef that is for sure. If Matts father Mario has any intelligence at all then he should retire and hand the place over to Matt. Matt is definitely the future of this place and with him at the helm this pizzeria could go places. Sorry Matt I have to rate this place one star because of your Dad. I shouldn 't have anxiety about who is working and if I am going to get harassed if I go pick my pizza up.
Unfortunately, it is disappointing to say that the quality of this restaurant has declined over the years. I recently ordered a large pizza with breadsticks, but received a small pizza with garlic bread at my door. This mistake has happened more than once, and it seems that the person taking orders over the phone does not care if the order is correct. I would recommend keeping that individual away from the phone, as they are rude and unhelpful. Despite the food being decent, it is not outstanding. Even if it was the best in Aylmer, it still wouldn't be saying much. I miss the old Peters Pizza.
Hello, we have been dining at this restaurant and ordering takeout for 35 years and have always enjoyed it. However, last week when we ordered, our pizza was undercooked for the first time ever. It had very little browning on the bottom and was very doughy. When we tried to cook it more in the oven, it became dry. Unfortunately, it was a waste of $21.00.
