Queen Street Cupcakery & Cafe - Ayr

Great place to meet with a group of people and enjoy a great cup of coffee and some to die for cakes. But if you are looking for somewhere different for lunch time, this is the place to try.

A group of us stopped in for a cuppa on our way to Townsville. Everything was beautiful. Good coffee,great selection of teas, smoothies, cakes and scones. Staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend a visit.

Although cakes are their specialty and suggest an excellent morning or afternoon tea meeting place, we found their luncheon menu good too. They are well supported by local people which is always a good sign. A variety of teas were on offer although our favourite happened to be missing that particular day. Friendly helpful and efficient staff.

The restaurant has beautiful surroundings and features an art exhibition. Our tour guide, Janet, was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable.

This restaurant is incredibly extravagant. They have turned this chateau into a location that could easily fit in Dubai, Beverly Hills, or on the Champs Élysées.
