Golden Donuts - Azle

These donuts are truly delicious! If you're unsure, take a chance and try them—they're unlike anything else around.

I asked a friend to pick up some doughnuts for me before my shift. He was supposed to get a half-dozen doughnuts and some doughnut holes. Unfortunately, the cashier seemed more interested in flirting than listening to the order. As a result, she charged him for a full dozen doughnuts along with the doughnut holes. He didn’t realize the mistake until after the payment was made, and she even tried to keep the change. When I called to resolve the issue, no one answered; the phone just kept ringing. I tried twice, but their voicemail was full and wouldn't accept any messages. Overall, I ended up with more doughnuts than I needed and terrible customer service. I won’t be returning to this place.

This is my favorite donut shop. Their donuts are incredibly soft. The kolaches are fantastic, and I particularly love the long johns. They use a rich yellow cream instead of the typical white one. This time, I tried a sour cream donut and was pleasantly surprised by how soft it was, as those donuts are usually crunchier. We're not morning people and enjoy sleeping in, but we make an exception to come here. They do stay open later, but they sell out quickly, so if you want a wide selection, it's best to arrive by 10 AM at the latest.

The lady here is always so kind. We love going here for our Sunday mornings. Grandson lives that they have his tiny spinkles as well as chocolate spinkle donut holes

The owners are very sweet, just like the donuts. The donuts and pigs in a blanket always taste fresh and delicious.
