Feedback gevenExceptional food, better than anything we had throughout the region. it is difficult to describe how very fresh each plate was and how delicious it was cooked. not sure what I loved more, the view, the service, the meal together they made for a sublime experience and the price? do you joke? unsafe snack. they should calculate twice, but they will not because they are the few who do this for passion and integrity
I was perhaps the first to review this restaurant 8 years ago and this is my third review. that is still amazing and that is not a surprise. eating is still delicious and refined blend of Neapolitan aromen with innovation. the menu is still going. written on a board because it changes due to the catch of the day. the service is still friendly and attentive. the prices are still in harmony with such a restaurant. certain things never change and it is a good thing because excellent places must stay so
I went back to that primitivo and so I decided to update my review. let me first say that if they are looking for a raised restaurant with a large menu and many options, they must look somewhere else. this. place is a small restaurant in a difficult place to find with an amazing view and fresh seafood. there is no printed menu and the waiter brings them a board with the options for the day, because the whole idea is to serve them fresh, locally fished seafood creatiw prepared. for our dinner (we were four) we had 2 seafood appetizers from six different seafood biss great sample plus seafood bruschetta and fried seatang, plus 4 entrees. the appetizers were very good and kreatiw, the grilled squid powerful tasty and the tagliata di tonno for dying. in addition, maurizio and his brother nicola stopped at our table to discuss with us about the food and the idea behind the restaurant was definitiw plus. our review, including 2 bottled water and one of the local white wines, came to less than $30 per person, which is more than reasonable. sure that they might be with the idea of local cat roaming around the table, but I have this place before a dae ad I can confirm today to visit this definitiw a place if they are looking for a unique experience
If they do not live in cala sca hotel. but maybe you have to because they have seafood starters (local word for assorted seafood is paranza) much different from what they have neiboring restos. (It consists of 8 different types and can be served...for 2 people). the local art to cook fish here is al limousine. it is more simile to aqua pazzo, but spicy is not pfeffer, but lemon. the fish in their dish is not cooked and not grilled, but surely juicy and aromatic. desserts are also very decent. I am not sure that the resturant family operation is, but the personal is certainly very friendly and professional. the prices are with restaurants on the beach, but the quality is much better perhaps the only part I can mention house wine could be better.b but. Nobody's perfect.
I was there last summer. Besides the wonderful view I enjoyed Zuppa di cozze, scialatielli ai frutti di mare and orata alla brace. All of that served by absolutely wonderful and kind staff. It was probably the best place I've been to in that area....I highly recommend it. I will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.
