The Keswick - Bacton

I knew I would enjoy my stay here, from my call to mandy. I stayed this week with a friend and we were immediately welcomed, mandy is a perfect host. our rooms, numbers 7 8 were clean, very comfortable with a fantastic shower in 8 and the most comfortable bed. the breakfast was delicious and more than enough. and what a choice. access to the beautiful beach is from the garden, perfect. eating in the pub next door is very good, with a good choice. there are many places to visit, especially the vicarage gardens in east ruston, many thanks to mandy for the recommended. I would like to thank mandy and her team for being so welcome and in the name of ann and I wish them all good for the future.

Host Mandy was lovely, room was freshly decorated, very clean and modern. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Great that we could take our dog with us. Hotel right in the beach, beautiful beach. Lovely few days break. Will be back.

This is a family run business and when you stay here you feel like you are staying with friends. Mandy made us feel right at home, except with way better breakfast! She was full of helpful recommendations that made our trip extra special. She also went out of her way to help celebrate my birthday. She is overseeing some great upgrades to the building and the rooms, which have excellent sea views. We will certainly be making a trip back next summer!

Now known as Seals Hotel Bacton which joins Walcott along the seafront of a beautiful mainly sandy beach. During the lockdown of Covid it has been greatly refurbished with modern seaside tones and soft furnishings. From rearranging owners accommodation to extending and improving guest rooms. Our room was such an improvement I couldn't remember how it was two years ago. Fabulous with a super king size bed and safe Juliet balcony double aspect windows beautiful sunset sea views. The breakfasts were incredible and cooked to perfection. The room had tea and coffee making with a small fridge topped up daily with free bottled water. Whilst it is only bed and breakfast, guests are permitted/ welcomed to use the breakfast room at lunchtime and evenings to eat take aways.

It's called Seals now, new owners and refurbished, Excellent stay great breakfast,friendly staff,access to quiet beach area. Great for single,couples or families. Access to miles of beach in both directions good for walking cycling etc. Small store and chip shop nearby.
