Villa Tabernus - Bad Bergzabern

We're back again and again! The crispy carving is highly recommended, even the pumpkin soup was very delicious.

Nice furnishings, small restaurant and menu. Appetizer: Camembert with salad, very good. Main dish: onion roast, pink fried, late tender ok. Knusperschnitzel with pommes was very good and thinly beaten. Service friendly and very attentive, although it was full. The espresso cup is preheated here and comes hot! Absolutely recommended!

! Restaurant is owned by German family and absolutely truly represents German soul. Customers are mostly locsl German (reservations recommended). Food is absolutely gorgeous. Steaks are absolutely amazing.

Very friendly, I think we stood out a bit as this is a 'locals' restaurant but once inside we got excellent service and were happy that the staff (family) knew we ere not local as they advised and were happy to 'show and tell' a real gem of a restaurant....

A little restaurant/bar where locals come. We had rumpsteak and it was perfectly grilled and very tasteful.
