Rogner Bad Blumau

We like to visit the therme in the evening when it is already cold and dark. there are several fires near the pools that support the mysterious atmosphere, namely in vulcania badewelt. the temperature of the water lies between 36-37 degrees celsius and they feel... after 20 minutes relaxed. they can then read or dream in the bathroom on a (sun)bed. the staff around from reception to service staff are friendly and helpful, the bathrooms and toilets are clean. the restaurant offers a reasonable menu, considering that the main aim is to enjoy the therm. if they do not sleep in the rogner, they can collect their entries by stamping a booklet in the recipe. the goal is to benefit from a free entry. they will also receive a reduced entry price if their hotel issuing a corresponding document to their gunsten. because the number of external visitors is limited, a daily reservation by phone or post is required.

Every day we enjoy the evening refined meals of the evening meal with selected wines and cheese. but the breakfast also offers fantastic choice! delicious local and organic products!

A great view over the spa at some relaxing places. the houses with an excellent equipment look beautiful and are built as outstanding architectural sights. the spa is really to relax. the sauna world is exciting and has its own attractions. the water world inside and. outside are high quality. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the restaurant serves delicious meals and perfect steaks.

The spa is extraordinary. It's probably the world's largest inhabited artwork. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and with bathrooms finished in Hundertwasser's inimitable style. The thermal pools are naturally heated and there's a stainless steel 30m lap pool as well as large indoor lounges and...even a salt room. Much is made of the sourcing of the organic butter and locally baked bread, but it takes a special kind of talent to turn first class ingredients into third rate catering. Fish freshly fried on a hotplate is left to curl and overcook. Roasted lamb and other meat turns grey in buffet style service and vegetables go to mush. Starters and desserts suffer a similar fate. Chocolate souffle was dry and flat. The same buffet style at breakfast has overdone scrambled egg, and, unforgivably, watered down orange juice. Given the fabulous architecture, the catering is a tragedy.

Wir waren schon in sehr vielen Thermen, doch die Therme Blumau ist einzigartig, angefangen vom Essen bis hin zum Wohlfühlfaktor. Die Zimmer sind nicht luxuriös, da Hundertwasser so gebaut hat, dass man sich mehr draußen aufhalten sollte. Die Becken sind toll und auch die kleinen Feuerstellen am Abend. Wir haben durch Zufall mitbekommen, dass man dort heiraten kann und das nicht mal so teuer ist.
