First of all: It is not worth going to another restaurant in the Bad Peterstal district when the Engel is open with today's staff. During our five-day stay in Bad Peterstal, the two of us ate there three times. Each of the 6 dishes was simply great. The sauces in particular are a poem. The owner's service was pleasantly reserved and always friendly and attentive. It's nice that the cozy restaurant has now found good landlords after many changes over the decades. Vegetarian options: The spinach dumplings with mushrooms and cream sauce are very tasty! Tasty sauerbraten. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Dessert is also recommended. Vegetarian options: The dumplings with Gorgonzola sauce are great. That was the tastiest rump steak I've ever eaten. Our food came quickly and the server was very friendly.
