There arrived and waited and waited for someone to come to take the order, while in the meantime two tables, which were later when we arrived, at least the drinks and appetizers were served while we waited patiently. The food is just ok...not good or excellent at all and even if the food had been excellent the service would have spoiled the experience anyway.
We went there during our stay at Hotel Esplanade. The hotel announced the restaurant as an authentic region. No problem when food is surprisingly crossed. But the mezze somehow tried to be eastern Mediterranean, but was not really freshly prepared. The burger was interesting, but no sensation as claimed on the menu. The staff tried to be friendly but seemed somewhat overwhelmed. This did not spoil our evening at all, but we expected better food and better service after all ads at the hotel and online. Next time we will try another of the recommended restaurants in Bad Saarow.
This is a pleasantly clean place, friendly staff etc. Eating was all right, I would rate as an average. What made me angry were the cost of drinks, over 5 € for an apple juice and water. The food was also overpriced for the amount and average quality.
We visited the Pechhuette yesterday as a family, together with some friends. We really liked the setup of the restaurant, the menue looked compelling and the location is second to none, right on the Scharmützelsee. The service was ok, but not convincing. I ordered their signature meal, the Pechhuetten Burger. I was very happy with my choice, it was delicious and the price was adequate. The rest of the crew ordered some local sausages, and they were not as impressed as I was. Whereas the was nothing wrong, the portion size was rather small, especially as they had to share a tiny bowl of potatoes and quark . (Important side note: don 't miss out to taste quark when in Germany. It 's a special kind of cottage cheese Germans eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner- sweet, with herbs, spicy, on bread and with potatoes, which is my favorite! To put in in a nutshell, I would go back, but wish a little better motivated service staff and some adjustments to the portions sizes.
We were eating here several times, it was always very tasty, but costly too expensive:(- what I can recommend are the sweet potato fries, the life coach becher, the salat, the burgers.
