Murphy's Kessel - Bad Suderode

Murphy's Kessel has recently opened its doors in Bad Suderode, as a new venture by the team that also owns Le Petit Palais pension. The interior is a mix between local, rustic, wood and stone with modern furnishings that looks both cosy and open. The menu is not very extensive but offers Irish pub classics such as burgers (beef and vegetable) and steak, as well as a pasta and a vegetarian dish but also chicken satay with peanut sauce, probably inspired by the owners' Dutch background. There is also a Tapas teller that serves nicely as both an entree or as something to nibble on with your drinks. All the dishes we ordered were very good and the service was excellent. Murphy's Kessel is a very good alternative if you want to avoid the typical German cuisine from the Harz for a change.

Super service, food and drink are very good. No style can be seen in the furnishings. That's why a star starts.

It is a very nice accommodation I was with my friend 6 days since it was nice every day fresh breakfast. And a nice bar is also there .a nice bathroom and very clean.

There was the breakfast buffet, saulecker and it was immediately refurbished and two people served. Only to recommend. It could have been 6 stars.

Very well maintained accommodation, all neat and clean at very fair conditions. Very nice staff, always very accommodating. Breakfast was very rich and delicious. We've been here for the weekend and we'll be happy to come back.
