You need it at Schlossl in Schuetzenstraße. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and the excellent Ayinger beer. Although you don't come into a gourmet sky, the food we had here in recent years was always well prepared and beautifully presented. However, a small smile from the waitress would make all the difference, but what do I know about other peoples problems. As I said, you must be hungry to order the giant carving (EUR 12,80, pig), in fact there were two carvings on the plate, many fries and side plate of fresh mixed salad. Not all Schnitzels in Bad Toelz compare well with this offer. Go! In addition, there is a good selection of wines and of course the pleasant Ayinger beer to accompany your meal. Unfortunately, I have to take off a star for the indifferent service. As a paying guest I would like to be made welcome, looking, even pampered it would make such a difference to the otherwise good meal.
If you like salt, this is the place! Under the salt you could say that the food was good, but I couldn't eat it anymore. In addition, only one waiting staff was available, most of the time we stayed there. She was a nice Lady Bridget, but the owner has to hire more help.
