Its good time to be there and enjoy the food and time with friends. One of the best restaurant nearby and after spend time in badami, Aiahole and pattadakallu this is the place to enjoy.
After having four vegetarian meals in a row, I was craving some meat and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. I was seated in the garden section of the restaurant, where the chairs were basic but there was a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes available on an English menu. I was extremely hungry, so I decided to order a mutton biryani and aloo gobi. The biryani was delicious and the aloo gobi, although they claimed it was only mildly spicy, made me sweat a little. Both dishes were very tasty and only cost 250 rupees, including a soda water. If I ever find myself back in Badami, this restaurant would be my first choice to dine at.
Have rated the place very good, but had this been any other town it would have had it tough to get good rating. We went in based on 2 earlier reviews namely good place to chill with beer and don’t be fooled with the appearance...of the front. The garden section is pleasant to sit and enjoy cool beer after spending the afternoon at Aihole Pattadakal. The person serving us was very prompt. Food quality is good (everything was deep fried). We specifically liked the garlic chicken and one has to specify if they want the non veg dish as boneless. Prices are very reasonable. We are thinking of going back during our stay at Badami
Don't get fooled by the looks of the hotel (opp the Badami bus stand)....like we did. Ordered for masala kulcha, kohlapuri chicken, dry chicken and Jeera rice. All dishes were very tasty with the right amount of spices. The best dish was jeera rice...you can...eat it without any gravies. Simply delicious food. Definitely recommend.
