Burger King - BAGNO A RIPOLI

We visited this fastfood restaurant yesterday. When we ordered our mails we were offered as all other clients by the way two coca cola drink bottles for free. When whe checked our bill we found out that we were charged €7,10 for the drink bottles. When I went back to get these €7,10 back, a strange conversation started. It was impossible to just give me these €7,10 back in cash in return for the bottles of course. They cancelled my electronic payment but when I asked for it they could not prove the payment was cancelled and then wanted me to pay again. As I refused to do that without any proof of payment cancellation, the manager was called. She was very inpolite and decided ro call the police! Luckally there was another friendly female collaborator who spoke English the manager did not or refused to do so and who admitted that what they were doing was incorrect offering the bottles for free and then charging them and even apologyzed for this behaviour of her colleagues. As she was friendly she convinced me to pay again but when I refused to handover the first bill, the whole thing with the inpolite manager started all over again ... As the whole situation already lasted almost an hour, I decided to accept the offer of the friendly collaborator to accept a copy of the first bill, so that we could finally leave. Needless to mention that nowhere in the restaurant the “special offer” with the drink bottles was mentioned. Although we must admit that the quality of the fastfood was ok, we must highly recommend not to visit this restaurant because of the disgraceful behaviour of the management and (some of) the collaborators who first mislead you and then treat you as a criminal. I hope somebody at Burger King Italy reads this and takes the necessary measures. As I said: the quality of the food deserves a better and in the first place honest management.
