Choco-late De Batirol - Baguio

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to this restaurant over five years ago and was looking forward to a similar experience last week. As expected, there was a wait, and the staff informed us right away that there might be some inconveniences due to renovations in the area. They also mentioned that all food would be served in take-out containers, even for those dining in. Since it was a rainy afternoon, I decided to order hot chocolate, which was decent, but I missed the atmosphere I remembered from my previous visit. Afterwards, we took a stroll in the nearby woods.

I'm not a fan of their hot chocolate; I prefer the one from Cafe by the Ruins when I'm in Baguio. However, their coffee is quite good. The place was under renovation during our visit, but the customer service and staff were very friendly—kudos to all of them!

Delicious food and fast service, even during the holiday rush. The atmosphere is refreshing and uplifting. Make sure to order the chocolate as soon as possible since it's made to order and can take a while, especially for larger quantities. We ordered seven, and it took more than 20 minutes to arrive.

Recommendable Great ambiance. Accommodating crew. You wouldn't notice time while dining within the plants and the tree walls. Relaxing vibe Parking is a bit tight because they preserved the trees and you would have to work your way around it. It is within our favorite place in Baguio, Camp John Hay. Price: it is okay given that it is in a very exclusive and wonderful place but the taste of the food is just Ok, nothing really special. Would I recommend it? YES Would we come back? Yes

We went here Friday evening before closing time. There are just few people dining at that time. This place is packed most of the time especially lunch time and weekends. Ordered the traditional, strawberry and mint hot chocolate which are all good. Service is fast and the servers were nice. The place really looks magical especially at night with all the lights turned on.
