While the menu is quite limited, everything they offer is made to order and consistently excellent—especially the fish and chips or pork ribs. The atmosphere of this spacious venue resembles an English pub, and it’s the successor to the well-regarded Red Lion. The staff have been here for years and are absolutely wonderful.
I just dined at this restaurant and I won't be returning. We ordered bulalo and buffalo wings for just the two of us. The place wasn't busy, and it was still within operating hours. Unfortunately, the food was below average—the beef was tough, and the buffalo wings were covered in sauce that was merely spicy, as if some hot sauce was simply poured over the fried wings. The service was atrocious. We waited around an hour for our order to be completed, and the server didn't apologize for the delay. To make matters worse, they forgot the serving spoon and also neglected to bring us our bill, which added to our wait.
I visit this place every week, specifically on Wednesdays and Fridays. They serve extremely cold beer, which is a definite plus. The food is decent for bar fare, but be prepared to wait; the kitchen struggles to handle more than one order every fifteen minutes.
