I you visit Kanha, you should certainly visit Kamlesh dabha it is located just next to the gate, the food served here is fresh but he makes very spicy food, so if you do not like spicy food please inform him before hand, Kamlesh him self is a very courteous man and is also very active, Over all ambience is very peaceful, and it one of the most visited Dhabas in kanha, this place is safe for family. when i visited i had "Deshi Murga ke curry" it was delicious but he had made it spicy which i did not like,

Have been to Kamlesh Dhaba on couple of occasions during visit to Kanha. Very authentic local cuisine and delicious. Probably best place to have quick bite near Khatia Gate.

They make the food when they see you - and serve it in 20 minutes! Simple, wholesome, piping hot, superbly tasty fare - we ate there eight or ten times during our few days in Kanha! The service is excellent and what's more, straight from the heart!

Kamlesh dhaba is a favourite haunt, an ideal place to recharge and compare notes. The tea is excellent and snacks are available in a short time.

We asked them to cook a 1Kg chicken that we want to eat with roti and rice... they made one, but with no onions or garlic... and we had no idea what it was taste like.. roti and rice was good though..
