This place has a very pleasant ambiance. And the wines are some of the finest on Bainbridge Island. Definitely heading back for lunch sometime soon.2023 update every bit as good as 2022, or perhaps getting even better!
Amelia Wynn is a favorite of ours, and the food is amazing. I am docking it stars because since the Vitner owners sold the Bistro, while the new owners do still feature Amelia Wynn wine, the price per bottle has doubled. Our favorite bottle was $38 when the wine makers owned it, new owners have set the price at $70. We buy bottles directly from the winery now instead of picking up bottles at the Bistro. Pro tip for non locals the winery ships.
We stopped to have a few drinks. The atmosphere was amazing, the service was fast and courteous, and the owners are super friendly. We spoke with the chef/owner G and he is very innovative, and we 'll trained in his craft. The food looked fabulous, and it tasted even better! Definitely get his home made ice creams! We would not only recommend this place, we would come back for another experience!
Strongly encourage you not to waste your time on this place. Customer service is not their goal. Waiter was incredibly rude and snarky for no reason. Food was cold and bland. Horrible experience that was incredibly disappointing. Will never go again.
A great place for tapas and wine, if you drink, and also some great NA beer if you don't drink! I'm sure they could also manage a Mocktail too! Wait staff was also super friendly and helpful with answering question and being proactive.
