The restaurant is located in a small building. I ordered two beef tacos and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. While the tortillas may not have been homemade, the meat and cilantro were excellent. The tacos were only seven dollars and were worth more in terms of taste. I would give the food four stars overall. The only downside is that the restaurant could use a bathroom. I would still give this place four stars.
I ordered takeout with confidence, but my food was sloppy and missing items that I had ordered. When I called to let them know about the mistakes, all they kept saying was "not working, closed." I called as soon as I opened the food after picking it up. I am very disappointed. I ordered a bone broth soup with rice, but it was watery and lacked flavor. I also ordered guacamole and chips, but they were not included in my order. Instead, I received a steak with beans and rice, although the rice was missing and the beans had spilled over onto my other dishes, which I did not order. The food was also not cooked completely.
I decided to visit this restaurant based on the recommendations for their homemade tortillas. I ordered tacos expecting homemade tortillas, but was disappointed to find that they were store-bought and not homemade at all. The tacos were warm, not hot, and started falling apart as I walked to my car. When I opened the tacos, which cost $30, I was very disappointed with what I received. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
The food here is fantastic! They make their own tortillas by hand and the service is great. This is the only truly authentic Mexican restaurant in the city.
