It's a tragedy that George's Hamburger shop closed over the street, as I was recently in Bairnsdale, I had to try elsewhere. I gave Peppers a sip and their hamburgers with the lot are pretty good. It tasted fresh and... delicious. The burger remained together as I ate it; very important. The only reason I don't give him five is because George belongs. No one can be the same, let alone beat them.

Order gluten-free scattered barramundi and chips and a normal battery barramundi. Both fish and chips were perfected and enjoyed immensely.

I used to regularly get a piece of fish here every week. Had never been disappointed. I'm downgrading my review now because when I get served most times it feels like I'm inconveniencing the owner/staff by ordering food. Thought I was just catching them at a bad moment. But now it seems to be every visit. They need to put on a much happier face and engage with their customers. If they can't do that they are in the wrong business. It's not just about the food, if you make people feel bad they won't come back.
