Tham Dynasty Chinese - Bairnsdale

I visited for lunch and found the menu to be quite limited, offering mainly lunchboxes that consist of rice and stir-fry. The portions were about 70% rice and 30% stir-fry. We ordered garlic beef, garlic chicken, and satay chicken. The rice served was steamed, as we were informed that the fried rice contains gluten.

This place offers a number of gluten free options as they make their own sauces when cooking and use gluten free Soy Sauce. My wife who is coeliac had the King Prawn and Cashew dish and also the Mongolian beef which was gluten free and delicious. Special Fried rice was made gluten free also.

We had a large group of 3 families and had a nice meal. The food was served in good time, delicious and fresh. Meals looked a little expensive on the menu, but the order a few and the parts worked great as they were very large portions, so the final bill was very reasonable. Perfect for a relaxed family dinner.

We had a great banquet meal here. The service was great and the food was not good. Although the poor waitress had run away from her feet, the food came at regular intervals. Very recommended.

We were very happy with our meals, which included seafood served in a potato basket, king cashew nuts, and steamed rice. The seafood and vegetables were fresh and flavorful, cooked just right, and the portion sizes were generous—I couldn’t finish mine! The staff was friendly, and we left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied.
