Chalet Basque - Bakersfield

Today for lunch and sitting in the bar. it was st. patricks day and decorate them. I was warmly welcomed by the staff. I ordered a complete lunch that included the complete setup. a setup includes suppe, bohnen, salsa, brot, salat. I ordered orange roughy for my gut, it comes with French pommes. everything was great, orange roughy was delicious, I will come back very soon.

This place is the first place where I ever had bask food, so my assessment is taken. My dad brought me here many years ago when I was a kid. No one in my family likes to eat basque so that I always made it a point to go with him and eat here because he loves it so much. somewhere along the way, often enough to come here, I fell in love with it. eating is amazing. the device they serve here is perfectly seasoned, the paved rim is great. the service is even better as they treat it like family here and always tend to them. prices are good for the type of food they offer. the lighting might be somewhat dark here, however, but the food amd service finds one way to brighten up the place. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try basque food.

Eating is fabulous! we love basque food and their were top of the line! it wasn't there in 40 years to recently and were back 3 times in 2 months!

Cannot recommend highly enough, great food, great staff,great location. What more can you want. The food was cooked fresh to order and was scrumptious. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Good value for money.

The food was excellent, we talked with the owner for quite some time. Very friendly people. Definitely will be back the next time we travel through.
