Don Perico Restaurant - Bakersfield

Good food, Great service and nice atmosphere. Always our go to Mexican restaurant. The owner is super nice and invited and the waitresses are some of the friendliest that I have come by.

I normally go to the one on white lane, but today I met my husband for lunch at this one because he works in Rosedale. I don't know what's going on but they weren't busy, they had a hostess and one waiter. He sat me and brought me out my soda and chips and salsa while I waited for my husband. My cup had salsa all over it that spilled out from the salsa, and there was salsa all over the outside of the cup it was in. My husband gets there, and ordered a coke. We were ready to order and waited for 10 minutes. We were about to walk out, then our server came over. Like I said they weren't busy and he had walked by our table 4 times. I had the shrimp Diablo, and my husband had the asada. Both were good but the beans and rice was not good at all.

Food was great, service is amazing. Love the menu selection, I've never ordered anything I didn't like. The San Antioni chimi was great, wish it had come with rice and beans! Cheese quesadilla was anything but average, so tasty. The salsa verde is 10/10. Our chicken tacos came out as beef tacos but they were so good, we didn't care. Patio is awesome and comfortable, but don't sit there if you mind cigarettes smoked at the perimeter of the patio. Still loved our experience. Our waiter, Heladio, gave 10/10 service. Definitely going back again soon. This location is also awesome for take-out. Everyone that works here is so kind and has a smile.

Food and service was excellent ! I also have to add that my fish ceviche toastada was super fresh and delicious. I wil def be coming for more .

They have awesome fajitas. I've also had their taco salad and it is good. Their chips could be better, but they have a Chili Verde dip I've been told is awesome but you have to ask for it. My husband says the red salsa is very good too. Their margaritas are tasty and they have a good selection of beer.
