Umi Sushi Sake - Bakersfield

So we came here to eat. had never heard of this place, but my daughter found it and decided to try it. the food was sooo good from the appetizers (gyoza and takoyaki) to the various rolls we ordered to drink the sizzling bulgogi dish to the alcohol we tried. nothing disappointed and what made our experience so much better was our server ray. So attentive to our table, gave suggestions and it was just a wonderful experience. it is worth visiting this place. we will certainly recommend this place to our friends and it will not be the only time that we also go. thanks again for a great experience

This place was fantastic! Clean and very open with plenty of seating. I will be bring my family here many more times because the menu is huge and there are several more rolls I want to try. Good sushi costs and like I said the place was fantastic but its not so expensive that this place has to be relegated to special occasions only. I will need to check for a happy hour or lunch special. The spoon of green stuff is real wasabi and not green horse radish paste. There is a small up charge for them to bring out the real stuff and I thought it was quite good. Get yourselves in here and have a wonderful meal.

My first time at Umi, travelled from LA to visit relatives in Bakersfield. Highly recommended! Great ambiance, reasonably priced for high quality sea food. Servers are nice. Facility is super clean. Loved their sushi and salad dressing is to die for. Umi levels up with the top Japanese restaurant in LA that I've been to. It deserves more than 5 stars.

Wonderful place to eat delicious sushi and rolls. Brought my brother there to eat after his gradation. He definitely enjoyed himself

The food and Service is amazing here. we definitely found a new spot. the interior is beautiful and very spacious. went as a family of 4 2 Adults a 5 yr old and a 1 month old and we sat comfortably. 10 out 10 highly recommend
