Viceroy Indian Cuisine - Bakersfield

First time ever trying Indian cuisine. This place had so many delicious and fresh options. Garlic Naan is incredible. Plenty of sauces and spice for all in every dish.

I thought this place would be more pretentious, but the servers and staff allowed me to feel really comfortable and were genuinely friendly. They were also kind enough to let me eat from the buffet right before the time cut off. Everything was delicious, although the garlic naan wasn’t as buttery as I hoped for, but it was still good. Dining room was very spacious and clean.

My recent visit here was a flavor rollercoaster. The Chicken Tikka Masala went from spicy to sweet when I asked for milder spice – a real magician's act! And speaking of tricks, Raita, promised with Biryani, turned into a surprise expense on the bill but the server took it off as a courtesy (the price for the order changed after the order was placed). If you're up for culinary surprises and wallet acrobatics, this place is your circus!

Great restaurant with a large variety of Indian dishes. The lamb biryani is delicious. The prices are reasonable.
