Mountain Holler Steak Seafood

We have been here several times and was very good. We noticed this time the salad was smaller. The waitress brought out 2 rolls. That was one each. I asked for more rolls and she told us we could only have one each. I drove 1 1/2 hours to get there. Was not very pleased! May not drive by a lot of other good restaurants next time to get there. I'm sure this will hurt their business!!

Amazing food!! I literally want all the food on the menu. The side salad, that most places just put lettuce, tomato and 1 cucumber slice. Theirs is exquisite with all those previously listed chopped to perfection with egg, almond slices and homemade dressings. I ordered the side of brocolli and would pay for the recipe. I got the salmon, which has yet to be topped and my husband order the full rack of ribs and they melt in your mouth. I highly recommend!! You'll be back!!

My grilled shrimp was excellent. The crab cake was good. The fried flounder was not as good (a little mushy). The house salad was very good. The hush puppies were just OK, (a little over fried, so I didn’t even eat them). The house rolls were EXCELLENT but you only get one and when I asked for another, they simply said “No.”. That kind of spoiled the experience for me. I spent 56 dollars and I cannot even buy a second small roll? Hmmm. This was not my first visit, but maybe my last.

We really enjoyed our meal. We ate chicken tenders and a hamburger. The food was delicious. The burger was huge! I really liked the rustic decor of the restaurant also. As good as the food was, we enjoyed our server the best. Her name was Jenna Rae/Ginger Ale. She was friendly and efficient and brightened our day. We'll definitely stop back by next time we're in the area.

We eat here as often as we’re able (a lot). The steaks are the very best. I don’t know how they do it, but they put everybody else’s to shame. Our server, Jenna Ray, was sweet and very efficient. She handle our big group and stayed on top of everything. You’ll be so glad you came.Food: 5/5
